PARTNER STATUS IN THE SUN PARTNER ADVANTAGE PROGRAM
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, November 7, 2006 –
Global System Services Corporation (“GSS”), a leading e-mail and messaging
software and services firm, today announced that it has achieved Principal
Partner status in Sun Microsystems' Partner Advantage Program for Independent
Software Vendors (ISVs). GSS has met
Sun's stringent criteria for excellence as a supplier of migration tools
software and related services to move enterprises and service providers to the
Sun Java™ Enterprise System Communications Suite (Sun Comms Suite) and the Sun™
Compliance and Content Management Solution archiving and compliance suite.
By achieving Principal Partner
status, GSS has joined Sun's growing community of ISVs developing applications
for or porting applications to the Sun Solaris and Java Enterprise System
platforms. Customers will benefit from a
broader range of pre-tested, optimized solutions; investment protection and
reduced total cost of ownership (TCO) through collaborative engineering between
Sun, GSS and other Sun partners.
GSS, which makes migration tools for
e-mail and messaging, directory services, group calendaring and collaborative
applications, is currently developing the next generation of its award-winning
GSS Migration Wizard product suite to move customers from legacy e-mail and
messaging platforms to the Java Communications Suite. GSS Migration Wizard has been used for nearly
